Brand and accessibility guidelines for contractors
This page has everything you need to create a report in Zero Waste Scotland's brand style while meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
In the Downloads section of this page, you will find the following resources:
- Brand and Accessibility Guidelines for Contractors: Our brand guidelines document. It covers how to use our brand correctly and includes guidance on making your report accessible to all audiences.
- ZWS Report Template (Word): The standard Word template for all reports created by, and for, Zero Waste Scotland. Use this for all new reports.
- ZWS Report Template (InDesign): An InDesign version of the report template for use by designers producing designed report layouts.
- User Guide: A comprehensive guide to using the Word report template correctly. It covers everything from formatting and fonts to referencing and accessibility. We recommend reading it before you start.
- Accessible Report Compliance Checklist (ARCC): A checklist to complete before submitting your report. It sets out exactly what is expected to meet our accessibility and formatting standards.
- Brand fonts: Download and install our brand fonts to ensure the InDesign template displays correctly.
- Logo suite: Before using our logos, refer to the Logo section of the Brand and Accessibility Guidelines for Contractors for guidance on correct usage.
- Branded motion graphics templates: A suite of customisable branded motion graphics templates for use in internal and external video productions. Please note that Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects are required to use these templates.
- Model release form: Required for any original photography featuring identifiable individuals. A completed form is needed for each person.
These resources are here to help you produce reports and materials that are consistent, accessible, and professional - and that meet Zero Waste Scotland's standards.
