Information Requests

Zero Waste Scotland is subject to information requests by the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) and Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (EIR). 

Zero Waste Scotland regularly discloses responses to any information request under FOISA or EIR, these can be found further down on this page.

There are certain circumstances when some or all of the information you request may not be released because it is sensitive or personal. If this is the case, we will write to you and explain why.

Any request for personal information will be treated as a Subject Access Request. The request form and more information can be found on our privacy notice. 

If you are unhappy with our response, you can ask us to review it. If you are still unhappy with our review, you can make an appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner.
