Various household items that have been flytipped

Zero Waste Scotland contracted Diffley Associates to conduct poll of adults in Scotland to gather information on perceptions of flytipping, reporting and responsibility for clearing flytipping.

The purpose of this piece of work is to provide insight into what is already well understood about flytipping and where there are misconceptions around the three areas covered.

This information is useful for organisations involved or interested in flytipping prevention, supporting delivery of the new National Litter and Flytipping Strategy, to help inform the design of interventions and understand where engagement and messaging needs improved.
