This report has been designed to provide a clear analysis of the latest technology and examine its efficiency, economic viability and environmental impact to help determine the role plastics to oil could play in Scotland’s resource management infrastructure.
Converting plastic to oil also has significant advantages over other energy from waste processes because oil is easier to store and transport than electricity.
The final report was produced in July 2013.
