Sector Manager - Energy & Low Carbon Heat

Zero Waste Scotland, Scotland’s resource efficiency and circular economy expert is looking for an experienced technical professional. This role will help develop, plan, deliver, monitor, report and grow the Energy & Low Carbon Heat activities in Scotland. As a key contact in this specialist area, the role will be specifically responsible for managing stakeholder engagement by providing expert technical advice and support to key stakeholders and, contributing to programme development.

Responsible for providing sector intelligence to the programme team and offering technical advice and support to the sector, this role will identify opportunities and is responsible for commissioning potential projects.  In this role you will enhance the delivery of Zero Waste Scotland’s objectives and mobilise appropriate responses.

The ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will be able to provide advice and support on decentralised energy and district heating, manage technical and information events and workshops, developing and maintaining high level relationships with senior stakeholders across the public sector, private sector, government and relevant industry stakeholders

Salary and benefits

£40,503 (pay range is £40,503 - £45,003 and the successful candidate will be appointed to the starting point).

This is a permanent role.
