The inaugural, global event is taking place online on 20-21 April. The well-considered agenda is designed to offer insights and inspiration for anyone passionate about moving towards a world without waste.

Location : Virtual,

Date : From 20/04/2021 - 09:00 to 21/04/2021 - 17:00

Over 40 organisations are confirmed to speak, drawn from a cross section of stakeholders -  from circular pioneers like Loop and Mud Jeans to major brands like Microsoft and Diageo to waste management companies, municipal authorities and start-ups. Dr Walter Stahel, the inventor of the concept of the circular economy, will give the keynote speech.

The Festival is organised by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and is supported by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the Circular Economy Club, Zero Waste Scotland, WRAP and the London Waste and Recycling Board. It features a conference, an innovation hub showcasing exciting new projects, a virtual exhibition and networking options to enable attendees to connect.

Conference sessions focus on case studies of circular systems and discussions of shared challenges and opportunities, enabling attendees to take away new insights they can apply in their own organisation. Plenary sessions look at the overarching issues of new business models, investment and certification, while four breakout tracks zoom in on fashion, packaging, food and electronics.
