Register your interest for Environment Secretary deposit return event

Following the recent announcement of the design of Scotland’s Deposit Return Scheme, Zero Waste Scotland and the Scottish Government are hosting an event for industry and other key stakeholders.

The event will be from 11am to 2pm on Wednesday 22nd May at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh.

Roseanna Cunningham, Cabinet Secretary for the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform, will address attendees and take part in a Q&A session.

Speakers will include:

  • Iain Gulland, Chief Executive, Zero Waste Scotland
  • Jill Farrell, Chief Operating Officer, Zero Waste Scotland
  • Don McGillivray, Deputy Director, Environmental Quality and Circular Economy
  • David Barnes, Programme Manager, Deposit Return Scheme and Extended Producer Responsibility, Zero Waste Scotland
