Funding for third sector re-use and Revolve organisations in response to COVID-19

COVID-19 has severely disrupted and will continue to impact the delivery of all activities across Scotland.

The Scottish Government and Zero Waste Scotland wish to support Scotland’s third sector re-use organisations in adapting their operations in response to COVID-19.

Guidance on decreasing the likelihood of COVID-19 spreading focuses on good hygiene and physical distancing measures and so organisations will need to make a variety of changes to ensure recommended practices are implemented on their sites.

As Scotland progresses through changes in the various phased restrictions put in place around COVID-19, grant funding up to £500 per site will now be available to support eligible organisations in implementing control measures that will allow operational capacity to recover in line with recommended practices.

Who can apply?

This funding is open to charities, voluntary organisations or social enterprises based in Scotland primarily delivering re-use and/or repair services and activities in Scottish communities and which are either a CRNS or CRA member or Revolve-registered as of 1st March 2020.

How to apply

The application form and guidance notes are available for download from this page. Completed applications should be submitted to Rmcovid19support@zerowastescotland.org.uk no later than noon on the 28th of August 2020.
