Q.  What sort of funding does Zero Waste Scotland offer?

A.  All of the funding that Zero Waste Scotland currently has available can be found on the Funding page or by following us on Twitter: Follow @ZeroWasteScot There is also a searchable database on the Gov.UK website that can help you find publicly-funded sources of assistance you may be eligible to apply for at https://www.gov.uk/business-finance-support-finder.

Q.  We want to introduce recycling into our business, where can I find copies of the materials icons?

Q.  What support is available to Local Authorities?

A.  You can view all the information outlining the support which is available for Local Authorities.

Q.  How do I join Zero Waste Scotland?

A.  We do not offer membership.  However, Zero Waste Scotland has created a number of voluntary agreements in different sectors that businesses can sign up to:

Q. Would Zero Waste Scotland like to advertise in our journal/magazine/newspaper/website?

A.  We generally do not respond to requests for advertising or sponsorship.  For the consumer campaigns, Zero Waste Scotland produces the marketing materials which are then delivered on a regional basis by Local Authorities or other supporting partners/organisations.

Q. I would like to make a complaint about Zero Waste Scotland, what is the best way to do this?

A.  Zero Waste Scotland aims to provide a high-quality service that meets the highest expectations of the public, customers, and partners. It welcomes all constructive feedback on experiences of its activities, whether positive or negative and understands that, from time to time, external people or organisations may be dissatisfied or concerned with the way that Zero Waste Scotland or its staff have acted.  Zero Waste Scotland has developed a Complaints Policy and associated procedure to deal with genuine concerns or complaints of impropriety, irregularity, misconduct, poor performance or ineffectiveness against Zero Waste Scotland in a timely and open way.
