Ways to Recycle - Paper

Paper

When you recycle your paper, it can be transformed into new paper products, such as newspaper, packaging, stationery and tissue paper.

You can recycle most types of paper, including brochures, leaflets, magazines, newspapers, office paper and unwanted mail.  You can put your paper into your kerbside recycling container (in most areas), or take it to your local paper recycling point.  There are around 1,700 paper recycling points across Scotland.  The paper is then collected and taken to a reprocessing facility.
