Volunteering opportunities

A wide variety of volunteering opportunities are available through groups that Zero Waste Scotland provides funding for.

Volunteer with our groups

Local volunteers make a real difference by lending a hand to their local group and supporting the activities that they are involved in within the community. These activities are to help other householders reduce food waste, recycle more at home and take part in re-use, repair and sharing actions to make things last.

Other enthusiastic individuals can act as a champion in their local area to bring the message of the group right into the community that they are part of. These champions are the ‘community advocates’ that provide a trusted voice for actions of zero waste.

If you are interested in volunteering through one of our groups please contact them directly.
