Resource Efficient Circular Economy Accelerator Programme

The Resource Efficient Circular Economy Accelerator Programme is delivered by Zero Waste Scotland with funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The accelerator programme has been allocated £30.7m from the 2014-2020 programme for the period to end of December 2018. Additional funding from the Scottish Government will bring the total size of the fund to £73m.

We are one of twelve Lead Partners for the 2014–2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Operational Programme.

It is anticipated that the Resource Efficient Circular Economy Accelerator Strategic Intervention (SI) will deliver a step-change in terms of scale, range and depth of existing resource efficiency work across all business and social economy sectors in Scotland directly contributing to the EU strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and the Scottish Government’s Economic Strategy / Smart Specialisation Strategy.
