Regional Partnership Managers

The four Regional Partnership Managers are part of the team that delivers zero waste messages to all areas of society to drive behavioural change, reduce waste and move Scotland towards being a genuinely zero waste society. They build partnerships in their regions, and manage their local Zero Waste Zones, Zero Waste Volunteers and work closely with stakeholders such as Local Authorities, businesses and communities to help minimise and prevent waste. Areas I cover: Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Moray, Highland, Shetland, Orkney and Western Isles.

As Regional Partnership Manager for the north I work with local authorities, volunteer groups, businesses and communities with the objective of helping to achieve Scotland's aim of establishing a Zero Waste Society. Covering such a wide and diverse area I realise that effective communication is vital when approaching this challenge and I'm pleased to hear from anyone who wants to be involved or who would like further information on any of our campaigns, such as Home Composting and Love Food Hate Waste or how to reuse, recycle or repair.

Are you busy delivering waste minimisation messages in your local area? Are you a local authority, business, community group, volunteer group or educational establishment? If so, as your area contact for Zero Waste Scotland, I can assist you deliver the national waste minimisation campaign messages locally by helping you source campaign materials and/or signposting you to other departments within the organisation who may be able to help your project or service. There is a network of community contacts in my area who are delivering similar messages and services to encourage partnership working. I'm Regional Partnership Manager for the South of Scotland. My aim is to encourage and enable positive behaviour change towards a Zero Waste Scotland through effective partnership working and communication. I work with local authorities, businesses and community groups to promote key messages. I also have a network of volunteers who are able to attend events, give talks and advice to householders and students. Areas I cover: Edinburgh, West Lothian, Stirling, Falkirk, Fife, Perth and Kinross, Dundee and Angus.

I am one of four Regional Partnership Managers working across Scotland. I work with local authorities, householders, communities and businesses to help them reduce waste and promote resource efficiency.  I help promote waste reduction activities through the delivery of Zero Waste Scotland's national campaign messages such as Love Food Hate Waste, Home Composting, Stop the Drop, as well as promoting reuse and recycling. I also oversee the Zero Waste Volunteer Programme in my area. Zero Waste volunteers are available to give talks or workshops to your company, club, organisation or group.
