PAS110 Support

Zero Waste Scotland are currently offering 3 days free consultancy support on a first come first served basis to help AD operators on the Biofertiliser Certification Scheme (BCS) achieve BSI PAS 110 certification.

These 3 days include the following:

  • A site visit.
  • Identifying and explaining the PAS110 template documents, SEPA position statement and records the producer will be required to complete for PAS110 certification.
  • Advise on the quality policy, standard operating procedures and HACCP in line with PAS110.
  • Advise on process improvements to achieve optimum performance and improved digestate quality.

AD operators must be registered with the Biofertiliser Scheme (BCS)  to qualify for this support and in the first instance should contact Renewable Energy Assurance Ltd (a subsidiary of the Renewable Energy Association) who manage the BCS.  Ciaran Burns is Certification Assistant for the BCS and can discuss joining and the free support package offered by WRAP.
