Help the pocket with Revolve this January

Zero Waste Scotland encourages shoppers to take a new approach to the January sales

4 Jan 18

With the January sales just around the corner, Zero Waste Scotland is calling on bargain hunters all across the country to miss the mayhem and shop Revolve.

Shoppers looking for a great deal can save money on clothes, books, furniture and toys without compromising on quality by visiting their local Revolve certified store, where they will find great brands at even better prices.

Buying second-hand from a Revolve certified store delivers the incredible savings that fans of the January sales are looking for, but with the added benefit that it helps the planet and supports local social enterprises and good causes.

More than 100 stores across Scotland are now certified with the national Revolve standard – a quality kitemark that lets shoppers know they are buying high-quality goods from a reputable retailer and can expect an excellent customer experience.

Choice and quality is further boosted for shoppers with the three Revolve-certified re-use and repair ‘superstores’ in Scotland: Blythswood Care’s Highlands hub in Dingwall; the Edinburgh Remakery, and the ReStyle Argyll e-hub.

That means even more opportunities for shoppers to find unique, pre-loved items such as children’s clothes, bikes, white goods and furniture that won’t cost the earth, both financially and literally.

Iain Gulland, Chief Executive, Zero Waste Scotland, said:

“Shopping re-use is an excellent alternative to the January sales frenzy – offering great deals on quality items all year round.

“Everyone really feels the pinch after the festive season so buying second-hand from a Revolve-certified store means you can save money on great brands as well as helping others by supporting good causes – perfect for those thinking about New Year’s resolutions.”

Revolve certification gives customers confidence that second-hand items are good quality, safe, and that certified retailers are reputable. For more information and to find your nearest Revolve store please visit www.revolvereuse.com
