Clydebank College are undertaking a number if steps to minimise their waste output.

Cardboard Furniture

Clydebank College's Interior Design students have used their design skills to build furniture made from recycled cardboard. One chair dubbed the 'Love-Seat' was made from 80 layers of doubled fluted corrugated cardboard sheets, with the arms comprising of over 160 single sheets. These sheets of cardboard were laminated by hand using PVA Glue and then machine-cut as whole sections.

College Recycling

The College has also fitted each office / classroom with blue recycling bins and recycle paper, cardboard, cans, plastics, light bulbs and light fittings. They also use degradable promotion bags and reuse office furniture.
