Increase III Funding
The INCREASE III programme is a £7.5m Scottish Government investment programme being delivered through Zero Waste Scotland.
Main aim of funding
The aim of the INCREASE programme is to help not-for-profit, community based organisations develop projects that will increase the
reduction, reuse, recycling and composting of waste in line with the move towards a Zero Waste Scotland.
Additional aims include:
- Move sector away from a reliance on grant funding.
- Develop financially sustainable community recycling models.
- Increase capacity of individual organisations to develop their ideas.
- Allow for the implementation of new and innovative recycling services.
- Consistent with the delivery of a Zero Waste Scotland.
- Move towards sustainable waste management activities.
